These Terms govern your use of the ProcureDataLab website and services. ProcureDataLab is currently operated as a partnership between its two founders, Priyanshu Maity and Abhineet Bhattacharjee, based in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, pending formal company registration. By using our site or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
We provide procurement data engineering services, building and maintaining data pipelines that collect, structure, and deliver publicly available government procurement and tender data. Specific scope, deliverables, and fees for any engagement are set out in a separate written proposal or order, which both sides need to agree to before work begins.
Fees are as agreed in writing for each engagement. Invoices are due per the agreed terms; we may pause work on overdue accounts. Cross-border payments may involve bank charges, currency conversion, and standard regulatory documentation, which is your responsibility unless we agree otherwise.
We collect data from publicly available government procurement portals. We use reasonable judgment in choosing sources, but we don't independently verify every source portal's terms of use for every jurisdiction. If you have specific compliance requirements about a particular data source, tell us before we start so we can check.
We don't warrant that the underlying government data we collect is complete, accurate, or up to date — you should verify anything you rely on for a bid, filing, or other important decision.
Our scraper code, pipeline architecture, and the ProcureDataLab name and brand stay ours. Once you've paid for a delivery, you get a license to use the specific data we deliver to you for your business, as agreed in your order — you're not buying our underlying tools or methods.
We'll keep your business information confidential, and we ask that you do the same with ours (like our pricing and methods), for as long as reasonably necessary.
Our services are provided as-is. To the extent allowed by law, neither side is responsible for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any engagement is capped at the fees you paid us for that engagement. This doesn't limit liability for things the law won't let us limit, like gross negligence or breach of confidentiality.
Either of us can end an ongoing engagement with reasonable written notice. You're responsible for fees owed up to that point, and we'll deliver any work you've already paid for.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. If a disagreement comes up, we'll try to resolve it directly first; if that doesn't work, we're open to mediation before anything more formal.
